FX-CHAT replaces the default chat with something people actually want to type in. Start typing and every command on your server appears as you go, filtered live, with its description next to it — no more guessing whether it is /car or /veh.
Two panels, one resource. On the left, the command line and the message flow. On the right, an optional general chat window with its own history, GIF support and slow mode. Both are draggable, both remember where the player put them.
Roleplay actions are handled properly. /me and /do render above the character's head in 3D as well as in chat, with their own colours, distances and cooldowns, and an anonymous mask option that hides the name of a masked player. Job channels route by QB job **type** rather than job name, so one /pdchat entry covers every police department you have, and the badge shows the sender's department, rank and ID.
Nothing the client sends is trusted. Text length, permission, distance and who receives a message are all decided on the server, actions are rate limited per player, and the media a player posts must be an https link.
There are no dependencies of any kind. No ox_lib, no NUI framework, no build step — plain JS talking to Lua, and everything else done with natives.
